Leah Vogely was born in Austin, raised in Binghamton, and is currently working in Baltimore. Her paintings investigate the museum object and its display methods, while her books reveal the secretive world of a collection and its collector. She received her bachelor's degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2007 and works diligently in her studio by the harbor.
